Wow, so much has been happening our side.... where to start... the chest flu I had turned out to be bronchitis bordering on phenomena from chemicals.... the chemicals burned my lungs and have left scarring though how bad, we do not know yet.... but, no worries, have been up to my ears on strong meds... actually, I feel sick on the meds and just peachy off them... so for 10 whole days I did nothing... John saw to that  He made sure I did not ex hurt myself in away - except got me to play Farm Town! LOL Okay, the race was on and we both working the keyboard to a standstill.... yet, I got to the level way before him.

Have had such an interesting time, in between the lackadaisical leisure time, we have really been blessed to meet some amazing people!!

The guy next to us, Rick Blair,  popped over for a sun downer and brought his guitar where he went on to sing  "Bluemoon' to us!! It was wonderful!!!! He has been an international journalist for many years... then moved to Singapore and has been a foreign correspondent for the remainder of years... what an interesting guy with such amazing stories to tell!!! What a great evening!!!

I since got to 'meet'  Maaike, from Kingfisher sky!!! Wow!!! They released an album  which was a hit and they are now working on their second album!! I happened to plow here fields in farm town lol!!! What fun meeting these incredible people!!

Then to top off my celebrity week - we have met these young American guys whom the kids have been hanging out with, and Evan's father Gene is a composer of music and he has written many songs for all the famous country musicians!!! It was absolutely wonderful listening to him play his music for us and sing the songs he composed!!! Wow!!! I felt so honored and so spoilt!!! Really amazing!!!!

Been fantastic meeting people with such full interesting lives!!! We have been blessed!

We postponed the beaching to change the props as everyone was not well, and so decided to get better first.

Jono went for his padi course which he was thrilled about - and is so chuffed to have finished it. He loved the open water dives in Paula Payer! Had such alot of fun!

Then on his actual birthday he finished with two dives at PP which was the cherry on top for him at Shark Point, then when he got back, we had a little surprise party for him where we had invited just a few yachti friends, and had made a light supper with snacks and a birthday cake which turned out to be a really stunning evening!

Lovely company! Fakhrees, Amanda, Muizz, Dows, Chris, Desiree from Tigger, Gene, Evan and Baxter from Emelia.

The following morning early we headed off to Koh Lipe, and boy oh boy... the gas alarm goes off!! Then to find the problem... we had the props full of barnacles which made us go so slow, so Justine and Jono hopped in to clean then off... the the Port motor gave a problem and we thought another impellor had popped - yet after cleaning the filter, all was good as new again and we had a great time beating all the way to Koh Lipe... John and I roasted from the glare!! It was wonderful to drop anchor in 21 metres as the place was buzzing with holiday makers and boats everywhere!

Slept in the cockpit as it was so cool there! Cleaned the hulls early the next morning, then signed out and headed back to Langkawi where John and I were off duty and read and just messed around ... drinking lots of coffee and eating non stop

We managed to sign in the following morning, get all the plans and times sorted, get Jono packed and ready for his early departure Tuesday morning which was really great to see them all off!! They had a great sail all day then had rain all evening till they arrived in Port Clang 10 am the following morning ....

Justine is finely on the road to recovery after two years of agony!!! Now maybe she will listen closer to what we have to say LOL!!

I unfortunately was told there was no improvement!!!!!!!!! And am on another weeks supply of meds till Mon next week.... the hospital here is not just a little ride across town ... so, hopefully I will have made a great improvement by then... PRAY! Please!!!

Now, I am back to taking things easy again and am enjoying it Sorted and cleaned everything - washing.... etc, etc, so I can sit back and read and enjoy

Hope you all are well, as we have not had any mail from a few of you lately .... hello?? anyone out there??

Till more news, keep well , keep safe and keep living life to the full!!

Hi Everyone,
Jenny I hope you are feeling better, did they check to see if you have the H1NI because I had it a few weeks ago and you can get the secondary infection which can turn into pneumonia. You must really takes things easy.
Happy Birthday 18th birthday Justine, I checked out the photos from your trip to Kuala Lumpar, what a great trip. We were there I think in 1995, I am sure it has changed abit since then. Lovely to read your blog with all your adventures and travels.
