Wow has time been passing by at such a rapid speed!! We pulled in the mooring lines just before sunrise and headed out in rather bumpy seas back to Langkawi x The wind was up and we were expecting some weather... We all sat with a great cuppa reflecting on the experiece once again which had revived and refreshed us all x We laughed, and joked and enjoyed the wind whisking through our hair and hot bodies... ... made us feel like those movies you watch where the wind is swirling up dirt as you pass a petrol station with two elderly men sitting on chairs in the very hot sun - laxidazically ....

I was playing dodge with the fishing vessels which spurt out some incredible wakes!!! Then it was surfing them hoping not to shake everything off the shelves lol

We got back to our Langkawi marina berth around 4/5 and moored up D dock which we were all thrilled about!!!

These past two weeks have been very busy - collecting the kids school work - sorting out business - long distance which has been very successful, and filing out lots of paperwork which has been incredibly frustrating!! Scanning and printing and so it has gone.... Once this is sorted out, we will be focussing on heading off on a road trip to Melaka to have the sail sewn as no one seems to have a machine strong enough... Our UV strip tore off during the regatta and so we have taken it down and have decided to go to the agents in Melaka - then of course I got all excited and thought we could just pop here and just pop there and the kids also wanted to pop here and so we decided to just do the whole of Malaysia!!! LOL

So we will catch a ferry to the mainland then hire a car and head off down south - Melaka is the oldest historical site in Malaysia so we will stop along the way and explore - pop over to Singapore if we are close enough then head on up the east coast and cross over at the top back to Kuah.... With the trouble in Bangkok for the second time now, everyone being advised NOT to travel there... we have had to compromise and so hopefully we will be able to make that trip when we get back......  but as you all know.... plans are always changing!!! Feels like we are going on holiday LOL!!!!

With the season changing now, we have had rain and strong gusts of wind..... on and off so are looking forward to a change in season xxx

I had quite an experience with this dentistry in Penang and must say that if you need your teeth done - thouroughly!! then this is the place to come! They were brilliant!

In my case - because of the filling breaking off in the roots - on both teeth which they could not do micro surgery on.. and with two abscesses which were not responding well to the third lot of antibiotics.... I had a pretty rough time...Yea - PAIN is not my closest friend I tell you and slowly we have been getting further and further away from each other which has been just perfect for me.... so I am getting back to my normal self again - Thank goodness xx

John and I used the motorbike to ride around the island for our 19th anniversary which was just brilliant!! We explored the mountains again and stopped for coffee along the way... guess you learn to appreciate the small things in life like the 2 degrees less heat up the mountain LOL!! Made John feel like 19 again flying around the corners!!! We enjoyed each others company and are blessed to still be the best of friends, no matter what life has thrown at us, we have come out winners for ourselves x Our kids think we are mad at times xx yet we can only laugh... later we all watched a great movie and just chilled after such an exhausting day having fun!

It is always such a wonderful blessing having friends over - or going over to them... Bob, Nan and George from our sister boat - Vertical time... invited us over for a feast of Thai food which was truely delish!! Learned a few things too which we have been trying out three evenings in a row!! lol Those chili's ... WOW!!! We are addicted!!

They have left for home, Alaska...and we are not sure when we will see them again with our own plans and directions in the next few coming months... yet we had a great and wonderful evening with them and are richer for knowing them - We are truely blessed! We have also met so many different and wonderful people - always growing and always learning.... even via e-mail we have been blessed to hear from people we have never met yet!!

Sitting on Bluemoon while everyone is having lunch... three fans blowing! Sun hot.... water calm... Storm clouds growing .... I feel so blessed to have such awesome friends in my life... a family that is just the greatest gift ever!!!
