Home Schooling
Our children have been home schooling since 2001 on the ACE System (Accelerated Christian Education)

Justine, Jessica and Jonathan went to a private Christian School on the ACE curriculum, so they have just continued with the same syllabus.
They work on a PACE system, which is a self-instructional curriculum, though more input from us is needed as the higher grades get more difficult.
John now assists the kids with Math, Science and English. I do all the fun subjects things such as outings, cooking, projects, computer projects etc...!
We have found with the sailing, that it has complemented there work by giving them the opportunity to see exposure by their subjects coming alive in many fields: Social Studies (Geography / History) Maths (Navigation),.Science, and Languages (Portuguese, Swahili, French, Thai and Malay)
The visual learning coupled with the theory has been fantastic!
One major benefit is the field trips! They get to go on them almost everyday!Justine Jonathan Jessica
